I became serious about photography in 1981 at age 53 when I purchased my first SLR.
In 1987 joined the St. Louis Camera Club, active until leaving St. Louis.

In 1991 we moved to Sequim, I joined PSA (Photographic Society of America), the Sunland Sequim Camera Club (now Olympic Peaks Camera Club).

In 1992 I became active in the Northwest Council of Camera Clubs and in 1993 joined the F-67 Camera Club and became active in the Puget Sound Chapter of PSA.

I served on the board of both, was vice-President of the council and managed an annual conference for the council in early 90’s.
Was Chairman of the PSA Chapter, presented programs annually for several years during workshops.

At the 1998 Annual conference in Orlando , Florida, PSA awarded me the honor of Associate.

1997 joined the West Sound Print Makers, black and white printing. ( small group meeting in Poulsbo in a private home). About 2002 name changed to Silver Image Artists. Still active in group.

I have been active in the Olympic Peaks Camera Club the entire period serving as President several times, treasure one year, and other officers through the years.
I am still an inactive member of the F-67 camera club

Have presented programs to area clubs , judged PSA clubs, Picture of the Month,
